Commencal Meta Power SX at 10 800 USD, YT Decoy X at 8 499 EUR and Mondraker Zendit XR at 12 499 EUR are three flagship e-enduro bikes powered by the Avinox motor, differing in frame material, weight, components and suspension kinematics approach. Each of them costs as much as a decent used car.
All three bikes share the Avinox motor and 800 Wh batteries (with the exception of the smallest Commencal size, which gets 600 Wh). Commencal bets on aluminium and a proven Fox/Shimano/SRAM component spec, YT offers an aluminium frame with a curated Fox Podium component build, while Mondraker builds a carbon platform with its own ZERO kinematics and claims the lowest weight in the comparison. Let's look at each one individually.
Commencal Meta Power SX Avinox Signature: 10 800 USD, 24,1 kg, aluminium
Commencal positions the Meta Power SX as an aggressive e-enduro bike and selects components that deliver on that promise: a Fox 36 Factory with 160 mm of travel up front, a Fox Float X Factory at the rear, Shimano XT four-piston brakes with Galfer Shark 203/203 mm rotors. The drivetrain is SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed with E13 Helix Race 155 mm cranks, while DT Swiss HX1700 wheels on DT Swiss 350 hubs with Hybrid 1 spokes suggest that Commencal had durability under heavy loads in mind.
A weight of 24,1 kg places this Commencal between the YT and the Mondraker, although the manufacturer does not specify which frame size that figure refers to. Battery capacity depends on size: size S gets 600 Wh, while M, L and XL have 800 Wh. If you are under 170 cm tall and range matters to you, that 200 Wh difference could be decisive. Before buying a size S, check in the RideLab range calculator how 600 Wh translates to your typical rides.

YT Decoy X: 8 499 EUR, 25,5 kg, hydroformed aluminium
The YT Decoy X is the most affordable bike in this comparison and at the same time the heaviest: 25,5 kg. The aluminium frame with hydroformed tubing is claimed by YT to deliver maximum stiffness, and the optimised link with precision cutouts suggests the manufacturer was looking for a compromise between weight and durability without making the jump to carbon.
YT boasts the FOX Podium fork, which it describes as "The most plush and most advanced front fork Fox has ever produced." The wheels are a DT Swiss set with DF technology, designed to neutralise pedal kickback, the unpleasant jolt in the cranks caused by rear suspension movement. The 800 Wh battery is standard across all sizes, which simplifies the buying decision compared to the Commencal.

Mondraker Zendit XR: 12 499 EUR, 23,1 kg, Stealth Air carbon
Mondraker Zendit XR is the most expensive and lightest bike in the comparison: 23,1 kg at a price of 12 499 EUR. The Stealth Air Carbon carbon frame is produced using 6-axis CNC machines, something Mondraker highlights as a departure from manual frame finishing. The manufacturer states that the frame was designed from scratch around the Avinox M2S motor rather than adapting an existing platform.
The ZERO suspension kinematics have been redesigned around the torque characteristics of the Avinox M2S motor. Mondraker claims more support and more active suspension performance, so that motor power is transferred efficiently to the ground instead of rocking the bike. A 36T chainring is intended to improve drivetrain longevity, and optimised anti-squat values are meant to maintain balanced, efficient pedalling with every crank revolution.
The bearing system comes from the Mondraker Factory Racing DH team's development programme and uses the same solutions as the Summum downhill frame. Enduro Max bearings in a single size across all pivots simplify servicing (one bearing part number to order), while two additional rubber seals are designed to extend service life. The Fox Float X2 with a dedicated tune for the Zendit's kinematics features in the XR version, while the more affordable RR and RR S variants get the Fox Float X.
