Raymon TrailRay family character
Raymon TrailRay is a full-suspension e-MTB family whose purpose changes with travel, from more versatile trail riding to builds focused on demanding descents. Raymon emphasises grip, control and assistance on steep climbs. It is a broad family, so features of the latest TrailRay 180 must not be transferred automatically to 120, 150 or 170 models.
Raymon TrailRay 120–180 versions
The current range uses TrailRay 120, 150, 170 and 180 designations plus Pro and Ultra levels. The official page for the latest 180 describes an aluminium frame, mixed 29/27.5-inch wheels, a Yamaha PW-XM drive and an 800 Wh battery, but the other versions and earlier model years have their own configurations. The number in the name is essential when comparing offers.
What to check before buying a TrailRay
Confirm the version number, equipment level, model year, frame material and both wheel sizes. Check the exact motor, battery, charger and display, along with travel, suspension service history, bearing play and brake condition. Do not assume every TrailRay has a mullet setup or the same drive system; read the specification of the individual bike.
