Ghost E-ASX family character
Ghost E-ASX is a full-suspension e-MTB family that combines off-road riding with selected utility builds. Versions without the EQ suffix focus mainly on trails, while EQ adds equipment for urban use and commuting. Generous travel and Bosch assistance make it a different platform from the E-Teru hardtail or the brand's lighter e-bikes.
Ghost E-ASX Essential, Universal and ABS versions
The current range includes Essential, Universal and ABS levels, EQ variants and High or Low frames. Ghost lists aluminium bikes with Bosch Performance Line CX drives and 600 or 800 Wh batteries. Travel depends on the variant: official product pages show, among others, 160/150 mm and 150/140 mm layouts, so one figure must not be assigned to the whole family.
What to check before buying an E-ASX
Before buying, confirm the level, model year, frame type, EQ or ABS version, travel and wheel size. Check the motor, battery capacity and condition, charger, display, plus the service history of both suspension units and bearings. On an EQ build, inspect the complete lights, mudguards and rack; with ABS, confirm the presence, operation and compatibility of the braking-system parts.
