Cannondale Mavaro family character
Cannondale Mavaro is an urban electric-bike family for commuting and relaxed riding on paved roads. Cannondale prioritises an upright position, easy access, comfort and practical equipment. It is not a single design: the regular Mavaro uses a mid-drive system, while the lighter and slimmer Mavaro SL has a discreet rear-hub motor.
Cannondale Mavaro and Mavaro SL versions
The official family separates Mavaro from Mavaro SL, while individual build levels differ in drive, battery and equipment. One Mavaro 4, for example, combines a Bosch Performance Line motor, 625 Wh battery, HeadShok suspension, Shimano Nexus hub and Gates belt. That does not mean these parts appear on every Mavaro or on earlier Neo generations.
What to check before buying a Mavaro
Establish whether the offer is for Mavaro, Mavaro Neo or Mavaro SL, then confirm the model year and complete build level. Check the motor type, battery capacity and condition, charger, keys, belt or chain drivetrain and fork. Inspect the complete lights, rack and other accessories, because these differences affect both usefulness and price.
